Hemsworth Water Park & Playworld
Hoyle Mill Road, Kinsley, Pontefract, WF9 5JB

Hemsworth Water Park is situated off the B6273 which links the A628 in Hemsworth with the A638 at Nostell. Coaches must enter via Hoyle Mill Road opposite the Farmers public house in Kinsley. Cars and pedestrians can either enter off Hoyle Mill Road or directly off the B6273 via the Hemsworth Park Care Centre entrance road. Nearest train station: Fitzwilliam (10 minute walk from the park) served by the main Leeds-Doncaster or Leeds-Sheffield routes. A bus stop is directly outside the park.

Hemsworth Water Park has two lakes; the largest lake is available for pedalo rides and has sandy beaches; the smallest lake is in a more secluded area to attract wildlife. Both lakes are stocked for fishing which is available all year round. There are also plenty of grassed areas for picnics and games. During busy periods Windy’s Cafe opens to serve light snacks.
